Category: Let's talk
I recently decided that I'd like to visit every state in the United states at least once. I have many to go. I thought it'd be fun to see who has visited the most U.S. states and who has lived in the most states.
I have lived in PA, TX, and AR. Only 3, so I know there are others who have had more states they have called home.
I have visited: PA, DE, NJ, MD, TX, RI, TN, KY, OK, MO, MN, CT, VT, NY, VA, WV, AL, LA, FL, GA, MS, MO, NC, SC, NV, UT, and MI. So, I am just over halfway to visiting them all.
My favorite state to live in was Texas and my favorite places to visit so far were Utah and Virginia.
(Note: I debated whether or not to spell out the state names or to use their abbriviations. If anyone has a suggestion about that, please share, as I wasn't sure if most people, especially those who do not live in the U.S. would know them. To be honest, this American is not even sure if she got the right one for Rhode Island, is it RH or RI?)
)
So, where in the States have you lived/visited?
I think I will start another topic like this that covers the globe, so we can see where folks live/travel around the world.
I have only lived in Missouri. But I have visited:
AL, AR, AZ, CA, FL, GA, IL, KY, KS, OH, OK, TN, NV, Iowa (don't know that one; lol), VA, MI, NE, IN, DC(which isn't a state technically but still worth inclusion in my book), AND LASTLY WI.
Okay, then I will include D.C. in my list too and it is a fun place to visit, but I'm not sure I'd want to live there!
I'm an idiot—I posted to your other topic. Why must you confuse me so!
I've lived in Michigan all of my life until I was 19.
I now reside in Missouri.
The places I've visited—be it brief or extensive are as follows:
AL, TN, IL.
Well I didn't want to leave the rest of the world out of things, so I made this one first and then made the world wide one and I guess I confused your brain. But, now I definitely know where you have lived and where you have visited and all that jazz.
I'm trying to see if they'll delete it. Sorry for the multiples.
I'd love to visit TN and AL in more detail, one week wasn't enough.
Oh please, like anyone cares about the multiples...leave it as is and come visit me so you can add Arkansas to your list of places to visit.
Yay! I wanna'!Really, since MI didn't work out, I'd love too, though I wouldn't wanna' intrude on your family.
I have only lived in Ohio. I have visited:
Nevada, Washington, Arizona, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Virginia, West Virginia, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and Washington, D.C.
Intrude?, Me thinks not!!! Come in the summer when I do not have to work and we can play!
only been to florida and california, but again, would love to go to texas, new york, virginia...so on
Can we all come and visit, Diane?
I have lived in Massachusetts, Florida, California and South Carolina. As for the states I've been in (deep jaws breath): Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, New York, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Ohio, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Louisianna, Mississippi, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Colorado, Texas, Arizona, Nebraska, New Mexico, Kansas, and Nevada. So I lived in 4 and visited 28. Wow
Well so far I've lived in Minnesota, Kansas, Iowa, and Wisconsin. I've been in:
FL, KS, MO, Georgia, ca, OH, ND, SD, AL, ID, IL, Montanna, Nebraska, NJ, NY, NC, OR, WA, WY.
Hmm. I feel like I'm missing a few, but that's the majority of them.
diane visiting all 50 states is something i also want to do. and a few places out of the U.S. also.
i was born and raised in kansas and will probably always live here.
